Bill Gates spots Bush in a hotel, where Bush was at a fundraiser
with a lot of big-money boys and Bill Gates was meeting with
a client he wanted to impress.
He goes over to Bush, and says, "Mr. President, I would
like to humbly ask you a huge favor. I want to impress this
big client, so when I walk by you later with him, can you say
'Hi, Bill!'? If you could see your way to doing this, I'd like
to make a large campaign donation."
Bush agrees.
About ten minutes later, Bush is standing there with some particularly
large campaign donors, when Gates walks by with his client.
Bush says, "Hi, Bill!"
Gates glares at him and says, "Get lost, Bush, I'm busy!"
